Our Hub currently hosts Hackney Homes for Ukraine Community Café, and a toddler lunch space 2 times a week. Our future plan is to open on other days to coincide with other elements of our programme.

The Salvation Army's Youth Department, together with their Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery (ATMS) Unit are looking for volunteer speakers to help raise awareness of the tens of thousands of men, women and children living in slave-like conditions in the UK.

Could you help us turn amazing donations into lovely parcels ready for families in need? Could you be available on Thursday mornings? If yes, we are looking for volunteers to help with the running of our Baby Wardrobe.
We offer a service where families living in poverty can access very affordable clothing for children from birth to 5 years. This service gives dignity and choice. The support is holistic and can include access to our community store in East Ham, support from Employment Plus and trauma informed pastoral care. Families who are referred are also able to access our nappy bank.

One-off project to help make-over the rooms at The Pleasance Lifehouse
We are planning to redesign our rooms to make them a safe attractive space for the people we support. To pull this off we will need a big helping hand. There are multiple different roles that will need to be filled ranging from carrying to driving to general organization of the rooms. We will be completing this project over a one-day period so will only take up a few hours of your time.
