Hadleigh Farm Estate incorporates Hadleigh Training Centre, Hadleigh Tea Rooms, the Rare Breeds Centre and The Hub. As a Catering Assistant you will be responsible for delivering the successful service at The Hub Café and Tea Rooms on a day to day basis. The post holder may move between areas within the operation depending on the needs of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
-To provide an efficient and effective service to customers and trainees understanding their needs and requirements, working to exceed these where possible.
-To work across all areas of the operation including front of house, food service and food preparation in the kitchen.
-Assist with delivery of the training program by supervising trainees in line with work set.
-Observe all legislative requirements including those concerning fire, food safety and health and safety at work.
-Cash up and secure premises.
-Be responsible for all public areas including toilets.
-Attend mandatory training and other training required.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
-Proven experience through working in the Catering or Hospitality industry.
-Basic qualification in Maths and English.
-Applicants should be in sympathy with the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
-Good customer relation skills
