To support this mission of The Salvation Army by ensuring the smooth running of Hadleigh Farm Rare Breed Farm Centre. To support the Rare Breed Centre Operations Manager in achieving conservation, education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide supervisory cover for the Rare Breeds Centre during periods if absence and holiday. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and be willing to take the lead. You will be confident in handling poultry. You will be trustworthy, honest and responsible for cash handling, cleanliness and the Health and Safety of the farm. In addition you will be working in partnership with the trainees from Hadleigh Training Centre. Applicants should be in sympathy with the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
-Minimum of an animal care level 2 qualification
-Clean driving licence
-Be able to demonstrate good leadership skills
-Understanding of Health and Safety issues connected with farms and visitor attractions
-Experience of leading a small team
