Would you like to work Front of House in our Homelessness Services in Midlothian?
We have the role of Concierge available working across our two sites in Penicuik and Lasswade and we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is the first point of contact for the residents. This key role sets the welcoming tone and atmosphere for the Lifehouse and is involved in all aspects of supporting homeless people to move on to new lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Front of house duties including all clients and visitors are signed in and out, managing enquiries, phone calls, facilitate contractor visits and ensure all those within the building are accounted for at all times. Completion of Health & Safety tasks including weekly fire alarm tests and daily building checks
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
-Understanding of vulnerable client groups along with knowledge of Health & Safety.
-Good customer service and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload.
-Able to work within the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army
-Excellent Planning, organising and time management skills.
