2 Year Fixed Term Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed individual to lead and develop Debt Advice services in Salvation Army Centres in the Birmingham Area.
Based in the City Centre, in this rewarding role, you will provide a service that is both caring and professional as you support our clients to become debt free.
Key Responsibilities:
Supported by the Salvation Army’s national Financial Inclusion Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing the strategy for the service; recruiting and managing a group of volunteers to deliver the service and ensuring that the centre meets all its regulatory requirements.
To be successful you will have previous experience working in the financial industry and have a debt advisory qualification that is recognised by the Money Advice Service. Good communication and people management skills are essential in this position; in addition to administration, IT and advisory experience. You will also understand and be willing to work within the missions of the Salvation Army.
