This voluntary role is based in our rare breeds visitor centre and involves supporting our rare breeds centre staff with maintaining a high level of animal husbandry and welfare. It is a physically demanding role and will involve heavy lifting, carrying, bending and covering large distances on foot on a varied terrain. However, the role is rewarding as you will be involved in cleaning and re-bedding of animal housing, feeding and health-care. You'll also be involved in providing good customer service to our visitors, handling money and helping with animal presentations to members of the public, educational visits and birthday parties.
The role is available: Monday to Sunday 8.30am – 5pm, or alternatively 8.30am – 1pm or 1pm -5pm
