The coordination and development of the UK engagement work of The Salvation Army's International Project Office (IPO). The post holder will build support for the work of the IPO through resources, campaign promotion, events and digital engagement, addressing all areas of The Salvation Army's work as well as the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
To coordinate the communications and supporter engagement from the department to inspire response from new and existing supporters, consistently incorporating the Christian ethos of IPO's work in all key tasks and conveying the Biblical foundation of the work. The post holder will lead the development of engaging, compelling campaigns and communications to support fundraising and campaigning objectives, and lead on message creation and writing of department resources and material. There is also the requirement to update and develop the website and manage the email and social media output while growing the digital audience.
